Hoping you all enjoyed our recent May bank holiday weekend? After all the wall-to-wall sunshine over the past few weeks, it was a bit sad to see the return of rain and cloudy days... We had a busy weekend of birthday celebrations and a rather long drive to Leeds with our youngest daughter, who is learning to drive. What should have taken an hour on the motorway ended up taking two and a half hours on the A roads, and with bank holiday traffic, it may have been better to leave it for another day, but she enjoyed it, and we only had 2 stalls, so I call that a win.

I hope your bank holiday was at least as fun as ours. Well, at least it was relaxing and not working! That any odd jobs that usually fall on days like long weekends got done, and you may have snuck in a 4pm snooze or binge-watched something you never get time for, usually, at the very least!
